    • Can I upgrade to another package after I purchase the ChMS?
      • Yes, you can upgrade to another package at any time.

    • Does eCatholic ChMS work with any of my other eCatholic tools?
      • Yes! The eCatholic ChMS is integrated with eCatholic Websites and eCatholic Online Giving & Pay. You can read more about those integrations here. 

    • Can I use eCatholic ChMS for my diocese/archdiocese? / Can eCatholic ChMS handle information for an entire diocese/archdiocese?
      • Yes! We eCatholic ChMS was built to scale from the small country parish all the way up to an entire archdiocese. Contact us today for more information about a diocesan ChMS account and get a customized quote for your diocese/archdiocese.

    • My parish is a cluster/has multiple worship locations. Is eCatholic ChMS a good fit for us?
      • Yes! eCatholic ChMS was built for any parish, no matter the administrative circumstances. 

        Our ChMS was built to ensure that every parishioner in your church is represented by a single member record within the ChMS. That way, records may be accessed by mulltiple parishes if necessary, which greatly reduces the number of duplicate records you’ll see. This allows churches in unique situations, like clusters, to keep data clean and tidy.
         

    • How many people can I give administrative access to my ChMS account? Are there different levels of security for users?
      • There are multiple levels of permissions you can grant your staff members and volunteers, all with specific roles. Take a look at what roles are offered in the ChMS here.

        There is no limit on how many people you can assign ChMS access to. We’ll never charge you based on the number of team members that have access to your account. Plus, our phenomenal customer support is free for all your users. Nobody will be left behind!
         

    • Can my parishioners log into the ChMS? What can they do?
      • Yes, eCatholic ChMS provides a Member Portal, where families can utilize a personal account to update the following information: 

        • View and edit family details and contact information (email, mailing address, etc.)
        • Add new members to their family records and update personal details or identify "busy weeks" in their personal schedules
        • View member info including Sacrament info, Groups they are tagged to, and any Religious Education history
        • View pledges and contributions associated with their family record 
           
    • Can I send emails from the ChMS?
      • Yes. eCatholic ChMS includes a built-in email tool that allows you to email an individual member, family, or group or email a specific list of members, families, or groups that you create in your ChMS. 

        The ChMS email tool uses familiar tools and features that you would see in a regular email service including editing, internal or external linking, and the ability to attach files or other documents.
         

    • Does eCatholic ChMS have ministry scheduling tools included?
      • Yes. With eCatholic ChMS, you can create schedules for any group allowing you to create schedules for Altar Servers, Lectors, and many more.

    • Do you offer training to learn how to use eCatholic ChMS?
      • Yes! Once you’re signed up, we’ll be sure to provide the necessary training video webinars, so you can watch and learn at your own pace.
    • Is there an extra charge for support? How do I get help if I have a question?
      • All ChMS plans include unlimited support for all of your users - there are no extra fees! Schedule a phone call with us or drop us an email ([email protected]) and we'll be there to lend a hand!
         

  • Set-Up Questions

    • How long does it take to get my eCatholic ChMS set up?
      • Your ChMS account will be set up shortly after your purchase. Data migration takes approximately two weeks. During that time, we’ll also work with you to make sure all of your data has been properly imported and is accurate before moving on to the next step.

    • Why is there a Data Migration Fee?
      • This fee allows us to allocate staff time and resources to your individual ChMS data migration. That way, your data will be loaded into your new eCatholic ChMS database accurately.

    • Can I migrate my own data into eCatholic ChMS?
      • You are able to migrate your own data into a blank ChMS database. That means you’ll be starting from scratch, and that might take you some time. 

        We love handling the data migration for you because our dedicated (and quick!) staff can ensure your data migration will be easy, accurate, and gets done as soon as possible. 
         

  • Fundraising Questions

    • Can I import contributions from my Online Giving platform?
      • Yes. You can import a .CSV file of your contributions into your ChMS database.

    • Can I submit a batch contribution to the eCatholic ChMS?
      • Yes. eCatholic ChMS allows you to create a Batch Contributions. You are also able to clone any Batch Contribution you make, for easier accounting and bookkeeping.
         

    • Can I use eCatholic ChMS to track other fundraisers in addition to our weekly offertory/collection?
      • Yes! You can create and track as many funds as you would like in your eCatholic ChMS. Things like Capital Campaigns, Annual Appeals, restoration funds, ticket sales, and much more are all commonly tracked through eCatholic ChMS.

    • Can I generate Annual Statements through eCatholic ChMS? Will it work with my MailMerge tools?
      • Yes. You can create an annual statement for an individual family, a dedicated list of families, or your entire database.

        Plus, we provide Word Doc templates for your Annual Statements so that you can continue on with any MailMerge tools you typically use.

  • Religious Education Questions

    • Does eCatholic ChMS offer Religious Education tools?
      • Yes. eCatholic ChMS includes Religious Education tools that allow you to assign students and teachers to specific classes, track attendance, and promote students to the next grade level. 

        eCatholic ChMS’ Religious Education tools are also integrated with eCatholic websites. Parents can sign up children for Religious Education directly through your parish website, and the info will be imported directly into your ChMS database.

    • Can I track attendance for Religious Education classes in eCatholic ChMS?
      • Yes. eCatholic ChMS allows you to record any absences a student may have, plus a reason why the absence occurred and if it was excused or not.

    • Can I give Religious Education volunteers administrative access to our eCatholic ChMS account?
      • Yes, you can give Religious Education volunteers access to your eCatholic ChMS account and give them special permission to only use the Religious Eduation tools. You can learn more about ChMS user roles here.  

        Plus, there is no limit on how many people you can assign ChMS access to. We’ll never charge you based on the number of team members that have access to your account. Our phenomenal customer support is also free for all your users and volunteers.
